Facebook is still leading social networks in the U.S. with over 140,000 unique visitors. Already from far away, followed by Blogger, and Twitter about 50,000, with more than 23,000 minutes.
In these two years it has become the second global social network with 500 million users and 359 million of active users. However, it continues far from its main competitor Facebook. In Spain, Google+ ranked fifth among social networks assuming 1.5% of all activity on Google+ in the world.
Recently Google+ has included enhancements to its platform. Now it pays major importance to those post enjoying more +1, highlighting posts that our friends have done +1 and locating these news at the top of the news streams. It will make Google+ more attractive to users as news may be of higher quality. However, some people argue that most news will remain unnoticed. It makes sense because we all know that any news is always born without +1.
