According to the
2007 Information Society Survey, 92% of the companies with more than 10 employees in the EU-27 have internet access. A figure that increases to 94% if we take into account only the companies with more than 10 employees of the EU-15.
Finland, Denmark and Austria are the countries where access to intenet is total among the employees of more than 10 employees. At the other side we find most of Eastern countries with figures below 90%, drawing attention to the case of Romania with only 58% of companies with more than 10 connected employees. Spain would be slightly below the average with 93% access, at the same level of countries as Italy or the United Kingdom but below less advanced economies like Greece, the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
