Google Insights is a new Google service that aims to measure chronologically and geographically diverse search trends in the famous Google search engine. An example of its usefulness is the ability to see how searching has evolved over time. For instance, searching for terms such as "web design" and see if there are more people who are looking for thsi term now or 5 years ago. The results come until 2004 and can be segmented by country and region.
The application also searches related news and imrpoves, to some extent, Google Trends.
