Google has just announced in its blog that
Google Wave has not achieved the number of users expected. Therefore Google will not invest in updating Wave and it is expected to finally close by the end of the year.
Google Wave , should be the bet of Google to face Facebook but the fact of not reaching a critical mass of users has recomended its closure. Some users believe that the tool is too complex and innovative. But it is also true that Facebook has positioned earlier in the market, leaving little room for potential competitors.
