According to the latest survey on consumer habits carried by Nielsen and presented in February 2008, 39% of internet users in Spain who have ever bought through the internet, purchases in a regular site, compared to 34% that says to do it after a general search of the product or service, that is of the navigation by Internet in its search. 25% decide to buy on the Internet thanks to special offers; and up to 23% use the search engines as a help to purchase.
The preferred means of payment for the purchase on Internet are credit or debit card with 61% of the interviewed; while 23% prefer to pay in cash and 16% through bank transfer.
