The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) is analysing most important web searchers

The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) has requested information from Google, Microsoft and Yahoo!, to analyse their privacy policies as providers of Internet search services.

Internet searchers work and process personal data provided by the user of their services, which can be used to improve the results of their searches over the internet, especially in order to offering most relevant results first. These Internet searchers are subjected not only to The Organic Law 15/1999 on Data Protection (LOPD), but also Law 34/2002 on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce (LSSI).
