Soudal: B2B website for window specifiers and installers

Soudal Spain is part of Soudal Group, Europe's largest independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and polyurethane foams. For its airtight construction line, it commissioned us to build a B2B website aimed at specifiers, installers and distributors. The site brings together the solutions of the SWS standard for installing windows to Passivhaus criteria, along with tools, training and a network of professionals.

A website organised by professional profile

The sector has audiences with different needs, and the website is structured so that each one reaches what they need quickly:

• Specifiers: technical answers for airtight sealing in every type of building project.
• Window installers and distributors: training in consultative selling and in an installation that meets the standard's requirements.
• Insulation installers and distributors: products and solutions for sustainable building.

The sealing solutions are organised by window level (interior, centre and exterior), in line with the SWS system, and are complemented by catalogues, product sheets and reference projects.

Material calculator for the SWS standard

We developed a calculator that estimates the material needed to seal a window. The professional enters the linear metres, the frame width and the distance between frame, subframe and wall, and the tool calculates the quantities for each sealing system. The results can be saved as a PDF.

SWS Network and professional locator

The SWS Network brings together professionals trained in installing windows to Passivhaus standards; according to Soudal, it is the largest in Spain. We developed the interactive map that lets users find these professionals, useful for anyone looking for a qualified installer and for giving visibility to the network's members.

Training, technical resources and registration area

The website integrates Soudal Academy, with courses and training videos, as well as technical tools, product documentation and catalogues. A registration and login area lets professionals sign up for and access the training.

WordPress development and independent management

The site is built on WordPress, with a custom design that is clean and focused on navigation. The Soudal Spain team can update content, news and resources without depending on us.

SEO and SEM campaigns

The SEO work is ongoing and focuses on the concepts specifiers and installers search for around Passivhaus and airtightness in building. To grow the SWS Network, we run occasional SEM campaigns aimed at recruiting professionals.
