Unidroco: web design, SEO and SEM for a large-scale wholesale catalogue

Web development, SEO and SEM project for Unidroco, focused on creating a B2B platform with a large catalogue, professional access, ERP integration and an acquisition strategy aimed at qualified traffic.

A robust, scalable B2B e-commerce platform connected to Unidroco’s real business needs

At La Teva Web, we worked on the web development, SEO and SEM strategy for Unidroco, a wholesale distributor of drugstore and perfumery products in Spain.

The project included two digital platforms with different roles: Cash Maresme, a catalogue website for the wholesale warehouse, and El Cash Online, a B2B e-commerce platform for professionals. Both projects had to manage a large product catalogue and respond to the needs of a wholesale business.

Web development for a large B2B catalogue

Cash Maresme was developed as a catalogue website for Unidroco’s wholesale warehouse in Maresme. The goal was to present a broad range of products in a clear and organised way, without making navigation difficult for professional users.

In a project of this type, the catalogue structure matters. Users need to find product families quickly, move between categories and understand the available offer without unnecessary steps. The website was therefore built around order, performance and ease of consultation.

B2B e-commerce for professionals

El Cash Online was developed as a B2B e-commerce platform with restricted access. It is not a conventional online shop. Only professionals registered and validated by Unidroco can access product information, consult personalised prices and place orders online.

The project involved a high level of technical complexity because of the catalogue size and the need to keep the platform connected to the company’s ERP. This connection allows product information, prices and customer conditions to remain aligned with the internal business system.

For a wholesale company, this point is central. The website cannot work as a static catalogue. It needs to reflect changing commercial information and adapt to different customer profiles.

SEO and SEM for qualified B2B traffic

The project also included SEO and SEM actions aimed at attracting professionals interested in the platform. The objective was not to generate generic traffic, but to reach users with a clear business profile.

We worked on the corporate content of the homepage and the blog section. The blog helps cover informational searches related to products, purchasing habits and seasonal demand. This content supports organic visibility and gives potential customers more reasons to discover the platform.

Paid campaigns also formed part of the acquisition strategy. In a B2B project, SEM can help speed up visibility while the SEO structure gains traction over time.

Interface focused on purchasing

The design of El Cash Online prioritises a direct and practical browsing experience. The platform highlights access for professionals, registration, language options and commercial conditions from the first interaction.

The header includes relevant purchase messages, such as free shipping from a certain order amount and volume discounts. These elements help communicate the wholesale nature of the platform and guide the user towards registration.

Category navigation also has a key role. With more than 10,000 products, the menu had to organise the catalogue into large product families and detailed subcategories. This structure helps users reach the right section faster and makes the catalogue easier to manage.

Work carried out by La Teva Web

Catalogue website development

We developed Cash Maresme as a catalogue website designed to present Unidroco’s wholesale offer in a clear and organised format.

B2B e-commerce development

We worked on El Cash Online as a restricted-access platform for professionals, with online ordering, customer validation and personalised commercial conditions.

ERP integration

We connected the e-commerce platform with Unidroco’s ERP so that product data, prices and customer conditions could be kept up to date.

SEO strategy

We structured content for the homepage and blog to improve organic visibility and attract users with a professional interest in the catalogue.

SEM campaigns

We worked on paid acquisition actions to support the visibility of the platform and attract qualified B2B traffic.

Catalogue architecture

We organised the product catalogue through categories and subcategories designed to make navigation easier in a platform with a high number of references.

A digital platform adapted to wholesale activity

The result is a B2B digital platform designed to support Unidroco’s wholesale activity online. It combines web development, catalogue structure, ERP integration, SEO and SEM in a single project.

This type of work requires more than an online shop with many products. It needs a technical structure that fits the business model, a clear catalogue architecture and an acquisition strategy focused on professional users. That was the work carried out for Unidroco.
