A robust, scalable B2B e-commerce platform connected to Unidroco’s real business needs

Unidroco is the leading wholesale distributor of drugstore and perfumery products in Spain. For this company, at La Teva Web we have worked on two digital projects aimed at responding to a clear need: efficiently and scalably managing a very large catalogue of constantly changing products.

Two web projects to strengthen the professional channel

First, we developed Cash Maresme, a catalogue website for its wholesale warehouse in Maresme. It is a robust platform designed to present a high volume of references in a clear and orderly way. The project responds to the needs of a wholesale business that wants to showcase a very broad offer without compromising performance.

We have also worked on El Cash Online, a B2B e-commerce platform for professionals. Unlike a conventional online shop, it is a restricted-access platform where only users registered and validated by Unidroco can consult product details, view personalised prices according to their customer profile, and place orders online.

The project involves significant technical complexity, both due to the size of the catalogue, with more than 10,000 products, and the need to maintain a constant connection with the data from its ERP. This integration is key to ensuring that commercial information, prices and the conditions associated with each customer can be managed reliably and kept up to date.

In addition to web development, we also work on SEO and SEM actions aimed at attracting professionals interested in the platform, including the corporate text on the homepage and the blog section, with recent articles designed to capture informational traffic related to the products and consumption seasons. The goal is to generate qualified traffic, obtain new registrations and help potential B2B customers discover El Cash Online.

The design prioritises a clear, direct interface focused on purchasing. It includes commercial elements visible from the outset, such as exclusive sales for professionals and companies, member access, languages and highlighted commercial conditions, while encouraging registration. The header incorporates value messages such as free shipping from a certain order amount and volume discounts, reinforcing the wholesale nature of the platform.

In terms of visual architecture, the website gives strong prominence to navigation by categories and subcategories, an essential aspect in a project with more than 10,000 references. The main menu organises the catalogue into major product families, each one deployed into several subcategories. This structure makes it possible to organise a very high volume of products and help users quickly reach the family they need.
