Normally customers ask us if we only works on SEO in Google, the answer is no. However, we must recognize that if we did, customers will not notice much difference due to the full control of the market by Google.

Google has closed the year 2012 with a market share of 83% of usage in desktops, increasing its share by almost 8 points throughout the year around the world, something that seemed difficult given the tight control already available on the market. Yahoo could be considered the surprise of 2012 and has increased its market share from 5.9% to 8.2%, a significant  jump.

The umpire is Bing with 4.7%, 4/10 more than in 2011 and showing that Microsoft still does not know how to enter the market for web browsers.

If Yahoo was the pleasant surprise, the Chinese search engine Baidu is the other side of the coin and sinks, from 12% to 1.7% Google is watching you eat your own market.

The other search engines include a 2.3%, similar to 2011 levels.

On a mobile device, using Google has reached 89.4% of the browser market by the end of 2012, one point ahead of 2011, followed distantly by Yahoo with 6.2%, here it losing up to 0.4 points of market share. Bing fee doubles to reach 2% other search engines added 2.4%.
