Catering Alcalá is a catering company in Barcelona that has been specializing in children's nutrition since 1976. Throughout these years they have expanded the catering service to nursing homes or day centers.
The foods chosen to prepare the dishes are local, seasonal and organic. The menus are based on the Mediterranean diet, where seasonal and organic products are prioritized, to achieve a sustainable and proximity dining room.
During all these years, Catering Alcalá has been expanding its catering services throughout the metropolitan area of Barcelona: Barcelona city, Mataró, Granollers, Badalona, Montcada, Esplugues del Llobregat, Sant Cugat del Vallés, Hospitalet, Sant Boi and Cornellà.
For the new design of the website, we play with high quality food images as well as photographs of the target audience of the client. We have also added in some sections of the same page, a textured image simulating a tablecloth.
As for web browsing, the web has a lot of information and we have divided it as follows: who we are, services, who is it for, our food, news, where we work and the contact page. A very important category that the client wanted to highlight is the food they prepare, where the food is organic and of proximity.
The new version is programmed and formatted in three languages: Spanish, Catalan and English. It is also a responsive web page, that is, it is a website that adapts to all devices, whether mobile or tablet.
