The founders of Disevil contacted with La Teva Web to initiate a complex proposal: to create a custom e-commerce according to the new design of the brand
, which was Mobile First so that users can easily make their purchases from any mobile device.
To start the project, we migrated the old website: vilovers.com, and the online store: vinosydestilados.com, in order to unify all the content in the new e-commerce of wines and gourmet products: Disevil.com.
For the new online wine store, a multitude of products were incorporated and organized by categories. This required an effort on the part of the programming department, who selected and created new custom-made Prestashop modules
. Therefore, this new online wine store has been tailor-made in order to create a large catalog that allows users to find the most suitable product for what they are looking for.
SEO for a E-commerce Prestashop:
Given the magnitude of the products and categories that are housed in the new Disevil online wine store
, it was necessary to create an organic SEO positioning strategy
that would get this new e-commerce to appear in the first Google searches with the main keywords of the online wine and spirits sales sector. The following SEO techniques were used for this project:
- Maintain the positioning that had achieved the websites of: vilovers.com and vinosydestilados.com, making a redirection of the old URLs to the new website.
- Crawl the new website to find possible 404 errors.
- Analyze loops in the redirections or errors in the images.
- Check the function of the new online wine store.
- Optimize all product cards and categories with titles and descriptions.
- Connect the new e-commerce with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
E-commerce Mobile First:
It is becoming more common for users to make their purchases in an e-commerce through their own cell phones, for this reason, this online wine store had to be Mobile First, ensuring the correct display of all categories and products on mobile devices so that a simple and effective purchase process could be made using the mobile.
