Online marketing: Google Shopping mixes with Adwords
Google announced in late 2012 that Google Shopping would  only publish products though paid advertisements in Spain. After the announcement it began a period of transition in which appeared free ads and paid ads, though with special emphasis on showing first paid ones, which generated significant declines in visits to online store owners appearing on Google Shopping.

We have already reached the end of the process and now Google Shopping only accepts paid ads. The operating system is linked to Google Adwords. Therefore if we have account in Google Merchant essential for publishing feeds, now we also have to have an active account with Google Adwords.
The great advantage of the new Google Shopping is the appearance of the products above classic Adwords ads, this ads incorporate photo, name and price of the product and link directly to our product page of our online store and encouraging purchase by customers.

Our recommendation to all users of Google Shopping who want to keep their data in Google Shopping is to update and revise their product feeds according to the new policy of Google Shopping.

Google is currently contacting users of Google Shopping to explain the changes.
