Tumblr recently highlighted our blog in its technology blog category. We share position with 5 other Spanish-language sites and 33 in English. In one day we have grown to more than 600 followers.
Tumblr is a social network created in the United States six years ago. Tumblr is a microblogging platform that allows its users to post text, images, videos, links, quotes and, while following other registered users and their blogs.
Although Tumblr is not very known in Spain, it has become a great success in Europe and, above all, the U.S. Tumblr surpassed WordPress in 2011 in terms of number of blogs, and in 2013 moved an average of 76.5 million daily posts. In the United States ranks as the 21 website most visited, ahead of sites like blogspot or wordpress and just behind LinkedIn.
Tumblr has as its main advantages that it is a social network with user-friendly and good design that lets you customize blogs much further than other alternatives.
