Google Shopping is already a reality, in beta status but a reality, and any online store can register its products on Google Shopping to appear on users' searches. To do this you must create a Google Merchant account, verify your site with Google webmaster tools and create a product feed that is updated daily, weekly or monthly and wait 40 days to appear in Google Shopping. This would be the right way and make the process automatic allowing all products of our store be synchronized with Google Shopping to avoid mismatches. Another way is to manually upload the feed, although it is not advisable if you don't want to meet people who ask for a product that no longer exists in your online store.
Google Shopping is still in beta in Spain, but we have already begun to see how SEO or positioning in Google Shopping will work. The size of the store will be an important indicator and we will find stores such as Amazon or Ebay on the top. A good title of not more than 65 characters, a good description and a good evaluation of Google users through +1 will be the basis of positioning. Finally and unlike the traditional SEO Google, there is the price variable. It does not seem very logical that Google is going to bring to the top more expensive when there are cheaper ones. As always, it is a matter of common sense.
